Kgalalelo Gaitate

Kgalalelo Gaitate is a self-taught visual and corporate artist. Honing her gift at the National School of the Arts, she was then exposed to various media, including watercolour, gouache, oil paint, etching and marbling. Her work comments on various aspects of numerous subcultures throughout the South African terrain, addressing the country’s social issues while celebrating its diversity. She is most passionate about empowering minority female artists so that they are able to live comfortably with art as their primary source of income.
