Levy Pooe

Levy Pooe is a South African visual artist working in the mediums of painting and drawing. He is interested in how reality can be represented and how it can be altered. He deals with themes such as contemplative activities, conversations and daily rituals. Pooe was selected as the recipient of the Cassirer Welz Award 2020 which culminated in a solo exhibition at the Bag Factory Artist Studios in early 2021.
