Qhamanande Maswana

Qhamanande Maswana was born in Mdantsane, a township in the Eastern Cape. He grew up in Qonce in a small village called Rhayi. In 2010, Maswana obtained his certificate in Fine Arts at Lovedale College. He furthered his studies at the University of Fort Hare where he completed a National Diploma in Fine Arts in 2015. He has exhibited his work at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan Art Museum, Ann Bryant Art Gallery, Galerie NOKO and the National Arts Festival in Makhanda to name a few. Maswana operates from his painting and drawing studio in Johannesburg.
